“Young Talents Selected by Future Shapers “Future Leaders Program” Take up Office

Çimsa to Make a Difference in the Sector with New Talents

Çimsa, one of the global brands of Sabancı Group, is getting ready to make a difference in the sector with the “Future Shapers” Future Leaders program. Çimsa, which put the candidates through a detailed evaluation process with the Ideathon Program carried out with the New Generation Sabancı Competency Model and Design Thinking Methodology, has recruited 11 young leader candidates from among 2552 applicants.

Çimsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı, has brought young talents into its organization with the successful Ideathon Program carried out within the scope of the “Future Shapers” Future Leaders Project launched on October 6, 2023.

Çimsa has had the opportunity to observe the competencies of the candidates more closely by adopting the Design Thinking Methodology in the candidate selection and placement process with the “FutureShapers” Future Leaders program. The 21 candidates selected as a result of the first selection successfully passed the detailed interview processes in the Ideathon Program and presented their innovative ideas on a predetermined topic.

Thanks to this model, a comprehensive evaluation was made not only based on reports, but also on the participants’ behavior, attitudes, potentials, their adaptation to the corporate culture and finally their skills and competencies. At the end of the 1-day Ideathon Program, 11 candidates were entitled to start their professional life at Çimsa for the first time.

The 11 Young Leader Candidates selected as a result of the project, which is an indicator of the importance and investment Çimsa allocates to young talents in line with its strategies for the future, officially started their duties with a special event held at Çimsa office.

Çimsa CEO Umut Zenar, who stated that he also started his first job in Sabancı Group at a young age with an executive candidate program, said: “It is very valuable that you are starting your professional life at Çimsa. I started my journey in Sabancı Group with an executive candidate program, and continued first as the CEO of Akçansa and subsequently as the CEO of Çimsa. A 6-month comprehensive orientation training process will contribute to both their personal and professional development and establish a strong foundation for Çimsa to achieve its future goals..
